Taking A Tour Through Salt City
“We don’t ignore the salt of the story” says Aliyah Miller who plays Salt in the production of Salt City: A Techno Choreopoem. Salt City is a musical about a fierce indigenous black woman with an overwhelming future ahead of her. She was raised in Detroit, the home of salt mines and Techno. The musical was held at Baldwin Burroughs Theater Fine Arts Building on Spelman College’s campus, free and open to the public from Feb 16-19 beginning at 8pm.

According to FoxNews.Com, comedian Katt Williams was arrested for a battery charge in Gainesville, Ga. This isn’t the first time Williams has had problems with the law. In 2014, Katt Williams along with Hip-Hop Producer Marion Suge Knight, were arrested in Los Angeles, Ca for allegedly stealing a photographer’s camera and both were charged with one count of robbery.

I am an aspiring advocacy journalist and author who plans on covering societal issues. I aim to improve underlying issues that go unaddressed in today's society.

I currently am an undergraduate student at Georgia State University with a major in journalism and a minor in sociology. I mark the future class of 2017. Go Panthers!

Not only am I a former staff writer for Six Mile Post at Georgia Highlands College, I've also previously worked as a production assistant on two film projects and am the executive producer of my senior project The HOMN.
